  • Kaplan now owns ManhattanGMAT

Looks like Kaplan now owns ManhattanGMAT. Sources say it technically happened near the end of December 2009.

It’ll be very interesting to see how it plays out in the future. The discrepancy in instructor pay between the two companies might be an issue going forward. It seems they intend to keep everything the same. The only difference seems to lie in who gets the leftover cash–now it’s Kaplan instead of the founder who probably cashed a hefty check from Kaplan.

Anyway, I don’t want to say too much since I don’t have the details, but thought some of you might want to know.

We’ve had many students who previously used Kaplan and ManhattanGMAT–so far they’re enjoying the GMAT Pill! Would be quite interesting if Kaplan bought out the GMAT Pill—!

If Gmat Pill is bought out wouldn’t it be Kaplan structure way of studying. I don’t want that. I like the way Gmat Pill study structure is set.
