As you sit down to hammer out those application essays, take a moment to read this entry from the Association of International Graduate Admissions Consultants blog. These days, it’s wise to balance your ambition with a dose of realism. If your dream job doesn’t land in your lap after graduation, how will you not only cope with that sobering reality, but thrive? If you can demonstrate a willingness to make less-than-ideal circumstances work in your favor, you’re already ahead of the game.
