Basic GMAT Commentary For This Integrated Reasoning GMAT Question
This is a graphical interpretation type question - one of the four integrated reasoning question types you will see. This graphical interpretation question involves looking at a segmented bar chart. As you can see, the bar chart is segmented into various types of plastic surgeries for each country in the specific year of 2010.
For each country, you'll see the breakdown of number of plastic surgeries per 1,000 population. Clearly, South Korea has the highest rate of overall plastic surgeries - which includes both invasive and non-invasive procedures.
From this graph, you can also see that invasive procedures are broken down into the segments shown: breast surgery, fat surgery, face and hair surgery, and surgeries that involve the rest of the body.
